The Colorado Mountain Winefest is among five fall wine festivals featured in the September issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine.
The 2010 Colorado Mountain Winefest is set for Sept. 16 to 19 in venues across the Grand Valley. The Festival in the Park, the main attraction of the event, is scheduled for Sept. 18 in Riverbend Park in Palisade.
The festival will include seminars, a golf outing, winemaker dinners and a demonstration and dinner with celebrity chef Kelly Liken. The Festival in the Park on Saturday will feature 56 wineries, vendors, music and chef demonstrations.
“What makes the Colorado Mountain Winefest so spectacular are a number of things,” said Sarah Catlin, executive director of the event.
“The festivities are surrounded by phenomenal vistas, wineries with a quality product converge and we have a fun, family friendly atmosphere. There’s something for everyone.”
Other fall wine festivals listed in the Better Homes & Gardens story include the Chesapeake Bay Wine Festival, Grapevine GrapeFest, Niagara Wine Festival and Saratoga Wine and Food Festival.
