Jerry Clipp has joined Community Hospital in Grand Junction as vice president of human resources.
Clipp brings to his duties more than 25 years of experience in human resources in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Most recently, he worked as chief administrative director for the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix and master’s degree in administrative leadership from the University of Oklahoma. He’s certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and Senior Certified Professional.

Community Hospital hired a total of 630 employees in 2017 and 2018. So far in 2019, the hospital has hired an additional 300 employees to support new service lines.
Thomas said the hiring committee was impressed with Clipp’s knowledge and problem-solving skills. “We are confident Jerry will prove to be a valuable asset to not only the HR department, but Community Hospital as a whole.”
