Joseph Gerardi has joined Community Hospital in Grand Junction as chief operating officer and chief nursing officer.
Gerardi brings to his duties more than 30 years of experience in a variety of settings, including an integrated safety net health care system. He served as chief nursing officer of UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital & Surgery Center in Longmont. He also served as nurse operations manager and associate chief nursing officer for the Denver Health and Hospital Authority.
Gerardi succeeds Carolle Anne Banville, who decided to return to medical school to become a surgeon.
