The Community Impact Council of Mesa County will honor businesses, organizations and individuals at the annual breakfast event.
The Inspire Impact Breakfast is set for 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. March 12 at Two Rivers Convention Center, 159 Main St. in Grand Junction. For more information, visit the website located at www.communityimpactcouncil.org/inspire-impact-breakfast/.
The event will feature keynote speaker Anthony Poponi, principal of the Homore.us event management, entertainment and training firm based in Crested Butte. Poponi will lead a presentation titled “Gratitude Starts With Attitude.” Poponi also will lead a free workshop from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. on how laughter and happiness affect attitudes and success in the workplace and personal lives.
Awards also will be presented during the breakfast event, including the Living Legacy Award to Jamie Hamilton, chairman and chief executive officer of Home Loan Insurance and Home Loan State Bank in Grand Junction, for his community service.
