Congratulations are in order to two Grand Junction-based businesses that have earned considerable recognition for the way they do business.
J.G. Management Systems (JGMS) is among the companies that will be honored at the Pentagon in September for their support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. Meanwhile, Cranium 360 is among the finalists for Top Company Awards in one of the most competitive and prestigious business awards programs in Colorado.
JGMS will receive the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award in recognition of the many ways the technical management and professional services firm supports employees who serve in the military.
The firm is in good company as one of only 15 companies to win the award out of nearly 3,000 that were nominated nationwide.
Cranium 360, a marketing and communications agency, is one of three finalists in the Top Company Awards category for media, advertising and public relations. The competition judges small and large businesses alike in their ability to differentiate themselves in a saturated market and deliver lasting results to clients and customers. JGMS won a Top Company Award in the services category in 2011, by the way.
Sales and profits remain the ultimate criteria of business success, of course. But national and state awards constitute another recognition for deserving enterprises.
