A Grand Junction entrepreneur who developed a million dollar business and went on to share her exeriences as an author and motivational speaker will appear at an upcoming meeting of a group of women in the construction industry.
Bette Laughran will speak at a dinner meeting hosted by the Western Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
The meeting is set for 6:15 p.m. April 2 at the Grand Vista Hotel, 2790 Crossroads Blvd. in Grand Junction. Admission is $20 for NAWIC members,

Laughran is the co-author along with her daughter, Kathie Nelson, of the book “I Want What She’s Got: Secrets of an Outrageous Life.” As a motivational speaker, Laughran addresses a wide range of topics.
