Contractors association donates to 4-H shooting club

The Western Colorado Contractors Association (WCCA) donated $750 to the Mesa County 4-H Shooting Club, proceeds from a benefit trap shooting event.

The event at the Grand Junction Trap Club raised funds through a rent-a-ringer option in which teams could add 4-H shooters, mulligans sold and additional games. The donation will support Mesa County 4-H shooting sports.

The WCCA also has raised funds for other organizations over the years, including Boy Scouts, the Challenger Program and Special Olympics

Based in Grand Junction, the WCCA is a nonprofit organization representing the construction industry in the region. The WCCA offers networking, safety and construction-related classes, a weekly project list and online and physical plan rooms.
