Monumental Coffee Company has breakfast burritos after all

Between the time The Business Times interviewed Monumental Coffee co-owner Landon Balding and the printing of the story on Page 2 of the July 9 edition, the coffee shop arranged to carry ready-made breakfast burritos from Denver-based Dis Burrito. The burritos are in addition to the empanadas Monumental Coffee gets from The Argentos Empanadas, which has several locations on the Front Range.

Balding had said Monumental Coffee wouldn’t do burritos, but he clarified that remark and said it wouldn’t make the burritos fresh on-site, but there’s enough customer interest to provide them ready-made.

Also, Balding is no longer just thinking about displaying a guitar for customers to play. It’s hanging on the wall next to the turntable for playing records.
