County clinic adds physician assistant Lewis as provider

Keelin Lewis

Mesa County Public Health announced the addition of a new provider to its clinic team: Keelin Lewis, a physician assistant with a strong background in primary care. This addition means increased capacity for healthcare services for all Mesa County residents, the organization said in a news release.

The Mesa County Public Health Clinic said community members can look forward to: an increase in appointment slots and scheduling availability Monday through Friday; and the ability to offer care in English and Spanish, because Lewis is a bilingual provider.

Mesa County Public Health touts affordable, accessible care for everyone, and available services include: annual exams, which can include preventative screenings for chronic conditions, STI testing, and patient education on diet, weight and physical activity; services for people trying to conceive or prevent pregnancy; routine vaccines for children and adults; and travel vaccines customized to your destination.
