Mesa County’s Clifton Motor Vehicle office is moving from its location in the Peach Tree Shopping Center to the Clifton Community Campus at 3270 D 1/2 Road.

The county said in a news release that the move keeps motor-vehicle services available in Clifton while allowing the county to use a county-owned building instead of continuing to rent space.

Hours of operation and service will remain the same, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The current Clifton office will remain open at the shopping center through Sept. 4. The office will open at its new location at the Clifton Community Campus on Sept. 14.

Motor Vehicle service in Clifton will be unavailable during the week of Sept. 7, while equipment is being moved from the Peach Tree location to the Clifton Community Campus. People can access Motor Vehicle services online at www.mesacounty.us or at the offices in Grand Junction and Fruita.
