Terri Jones has a passion for helping people. She is the Western Slope Division Director for the March of Dimes as well as the owner/event planner of Crystal Events, an event management company.
As the Division Director for the March of Dimes, Terri’s passion for healthy babies started with the birth of her son, who was born two months premature, almost eight years ago. Soon after her son was brought home from the hospital, Terri started as a volunteer with the March of Dimes. Through her dedication, she was offered the Division Director position in February 2011 and was proud to accept. Since then, she has strived to bring awareness to the community about the importance of healthy moms and babies.
Using her expertise in event planning, the two major fundraisers for the March of Dimes, Signature Chefs and March for Babies, have grown significantly, and with help from the community, have raised over $200,000 in the last 10 months.
Terri’s other passion is her company, Crystal Events. She started the company in January of 2008. “I take pride in creating any type of event on any budget,” says Jones, “I enjoy taking the vision the client has and making it a reality.” Jones has planned events from weddings, corporate events, grand openings, golf tournaments and more, including the Grand Opening of the Allen Unique Auto Museum and the Marques Harris Celebrity Golf Tournament.
“I believe the key to success is surrounding yourself with knowledgeable and positive people,” says Jones.
