Dealership awarded for customer and community service

Grand Junction Subaru has received recognition for its efforts to serve customers as well as the community.

The dealership received the Subaru Love Promise Gold Award. Subaru of America established the awards program to honor dealerships that demonstrate excellence in all areas of customer service as well as a commitment to organizations that support education, the environment, health and pets.

Grand Junction Subaru participates in the Share the Love campaign and over the last five years has donated a total of more than $70,000 to area nonprofit organizations. More than $20,000 was contributed to Colorado Discover Ability earlier this year to support efforts to help people with disabilities through camping, cycling and other outdoor sports.

Grand Junction Subaru also has donated vehicles to the Colorado Ski Patrol, Community Hospital and Meals on Wheels of Mesa County. In addition, the dealership hosts fee-waived pet adoption events in conjunction with the Roice Hurst Humane Society.

“We live and work in this community. It’s home to us, and we want to do all we can to support organizations who are helping to serve those who need a little extra hand in our community,” said Ron Bubar, owner of Grand Junction Subaru. “Helping others brings so much joy and satisfaction. We are honored to receive the Gold Love Promise Award.”
