Kathy Donoher and Jason Hudson have joined Family Health West in Fruita as a registered dietitian and medical laboratory technician, respectively.
Donoher moved to the Grand Valley from Idaho, where she recently completed her dietetic internship. Before that, she completed her master’s degree in family and consumer sciences with an emphasis in nutrition from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
Donoher has worked as a chemist, English teacher in China and sustainable agriculture volunteer in Honduras while serving in the Peace Corps.
“We are thrilled to have Kathy on board. Her enthusiasm and experiences will certainly be an asset to our organization,” said Kay Garcia, director of dietary services for Family Health West.
Hudson received his medical laboratory technician degree from Washington State Community College in Marietta, Ohio. He worked as a traveling technician for a year, which brought him to Colorado in 2008.
“We are excited to have Jason’s expertise and professionalism in the laboratory as we strive to provide the best in service. We are fortunate to have him on our team,” said Elizabeth Reese, laboratory director at Family Health West.
