Dog daycare and boarding facility opens

Two entrepreneurs have expanded their pet care operations in the Grand Valley in opening Dog Dynasty, a daycare and boarding facility in downtown Grand Junction.

Owner Tosha Long and partner Nathan Kurtz opened Dog Dynasty at 126 N. Seventh St.

The facility offers an indoor space with kennels and an outdoor space along with a range of services in caring for dogs whether it’s for a couple of hours, the whole day or overnight. Play areas accommodate dogs large and small.

Dog Dynasty is the latest venture for Long and Kurtz, who also operate the adjacent Downtown Cat, a grooming and boarding facility for cats at 761 Rood Ave. They also operate A Pawsh Pet Spa at 2249 Broadway in the Redlands area of Grand Junction, offering grooming, massage therapy and professional pet photography. In addition, they run Peachy Pooches pet grooming and self-serve pet wash at 3225 Interstate 70 Business Loop in Clifton.
