American Furniture Warehouse has donated furnishings for St. Martin Place, a complex of 15 apartments that offers housing to homeless military veterans.

Located at 415 S. Third St. in Grand Junction, St. Martin Place is a collaborative project of the Grand Valley Catholic Outreach as well as the Grand Junction Housing Authority, Veterans Administration, businesses, foundations and individual donors. Veterans receive not only housing, but also such support services as case management and weekly individual and group sessions as well as access to other community services.

American Furniture Warehouse annually contributes more than $2 million as well as in-kind donations and time to hundreds of philanthropic organizations. “Colorado is home to American Furniture Warehouse and we are happy to do our part to help our friends and neighbors who need it most,” said Jake Jabs, president and chief executive officer.
