Economic development groups hires real estate manager

Micah Adams

Micah Adams has joined the Grand Junction Economic Partnership as real estate development manager, helping business prospects and developers.

Adams brings to the new role with the economic development organization his experience with FCI Constructors based in Grand Junction. He worked with a project management team overseeing the construction of large, commercial buildings. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Colorado Mesa University as well as associate’s degrees in construction technology and computer-aided drafting.

With GJEP, Adams serves as a liaison between prospects considering relocating to Mesa County and local government planning departments. He also maintains relationships with local commercial real estate brokers.

“Our improving economy, affordable commercial real estate and seven opportunity zones has created interest from local and out-of-area developers that is wonderful and almost overwhelming,” said Robin Brown, executive director of GJEP. “With Micah’s hands-on experience in real estate development and construction, he brings a whole new set of skills to GJEP that will be a tremendous asset as we grow our services to meet the increasing demand that we’re seeing.”
