Employer registration deadline for job fair is April 1

Colorado Mesa University’s Alumni and Career Services is partnering with the Mesa County Workforce Center to host the 2026 Western Colorado Job Fair. Job seekers and employers from across the region are invited to come together to network, meet future employees and highlight their organizations April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grand Junction Convention Center, 159 Main St.

The Western Colorado Job Fair is designed to connect local employers with talented job seekers, including students, alumni, veterans and community members. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with hiring organizations, explore career paths and learn about current job openings across a wide range of industries.

Veterans and Colorado Mesa University alumni will receive early access to the event beginning at 9 a.m., giving them additional time to meet with employers and discuss career opportunities. The event will open to the public at 10 a.m.

CMU students and alumni can prepare for this event by working with a Career Services Career Coach to build a resume, practice interviewing and pick out an interview-ready outfit from Stella’s Business Closet.

Employers have until April 1 to register through CMU’s Alumni and Career Services website: www.coloradomesa.edu/career/index.html.
