Registration is under way for the Colorado Entrepreneurship Marketplace scheduled for Oct. 5 at the Pueblo Convention Center.
The annual event brings together in one place in one day information and resources for those starting and running businesses. Admission is $35.
Mikal Belivoce, a business strategist and columnist and contributor to Entrepreneur magazine, is scheduled to present the opening keynote address.
Three subsequent sessions will offer presentations on a variety of subjects, including business in agriculture, business and community development, financing, marketing and technology.
Individual presentations will address such topics as advertising, agritourism, branding, budgeting, crowdfunding, data breaches, due diligence, e-commerce, government contracting, interviewing techniques, marketing and social media.
Representatives from state and federal government agencies offering assistance and services to businesses will participate, including the Colorado Department of Agriculture, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center as well as the U.S. Department of Agricultural-Rural Development and U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Colorado Entrepreneurship Marketplace also will include an exhibit hall showcasing businesses and organizations that provide services to entrepreneurs as well as a reception at the El Pueblo Museum.
A separate Young Entrepreneurship MarketPlace is scheduled for Oct. 4 at Pueblo Community College. Admission is $25.
