An estimated 35,000 people watched the latest version of an annual air show sponsored by West Star Aviation in Grand Junction for more than 20 years.

“We are honored to be part of such a long-standing tradition in the Grand Junction area and offer support to the local community with this spectacular event,” said Dave Krogman, general manager of West Star Aviation in Grand Junction.

“We support such events in order to inspire young people about the exciting opportunities aviation can offer in their lives.” Krogman said. “Air shows are one of the best ways to get the community on the ramp and close to airplanes, old and new. The community has always worked in partnership with us on this event. We wish to thank them for all their hard work and support with the air show and for the aviation industry.”

The latest show featured the Navy Blue Angels and Army Golden Knights as well as other military and private flying acts.
