Events to offer help with marketing and research

Upcoming events will offer participants assistance in developing stories promoting their business brands and using a database to conduct research.

An Entrepreneurs Lunch and Learn session is set for 11:30 a.m. July 5 at the Factory coworking space, 750 Main St. in downtown Grand Junction.

The free event will feature Will Campbell, a film director and cinematographer who will discuss the process of developing stories for businesses. Campbell will describe how to come up with a narrative that resonates with targeted audiences, customers and clients. Participants should bring their own lunch.

Two free demonstrations will show participants how to use the Reference USA  database available through Mesa County Libraries. The July 10 demonstrations are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at the central library at 443 N. Sixth St. and 11:30 a.m. at the Factory. Lunch will be provided at the Factory. Reference USA can be used to conduct market research, locate sales leads and develop a business plan.
