A series of free presentations featuring local authors and speakers continues at Crystal Books and Gifts in downtown Grand Junction. The Off the Shelf events are set to begin at 11 a.m. at the store, located at 439 Main St.

A presentation set for Nov. 8 will feature Cheryl Hardy, author of “Collecting Your Bones: Discover Your Authentic Self.” Hardy also will conduct a workshop leading participants in a step-by-step process of discovering their intuitive selves.

A presentation set for Nov. 14 will feature Dana Liesegang, author of “Falling Up: My Wild Ride from Victim to Kick-Ass Victory.”

On No. 22, Polly Cady will explore the art of dowsing to find lost items as well as answers to questions about life.
