Mike Andrews has joined HRL Compliance Solutions as president of the Grand Junction-based environmental consulting firm.

Andrews brings to his duties more than 25 years of experience in the electric generation, energy, mining and utilities industries. He served as executive vice president of General Cable Corp. and was part of a leadership team that increased company revenues from $1.45 billion to $6.5 billion.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s of business administration degrees from the Carl H. Linder College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.

Andrews said he’s looking forward to working with the leadership team at HRL Compliance Solutions to execute a growth strategy. “What attracted me to HRL is their strong reputation in the market for quality work, a diversified portfolio of services and a scalable business platform. The company is a great fit for me, and I’m eager to use my skill sets to start moving the needle on growth,” he said.

Herman Lucero, founder and chief executive officer of HRL Compliance Solutions, hailed the addition. “We are thrilled to have someone of MIke’s caliber joining our team. He is a proven leader and has an impressive track record for executing and achieving results.”

HRL Compliance Solutions operates offices in Western Colorado as well as New Mexico and Pennsylvania. The company offers a range of environmental services to private sector and government clients in the energy and mining sectors. For more information, visit the website at www.hrlcomp.com.
