ICON Eyecare has relocated and expanded its Grand Junction operation to offer a range of services, including LASIK, cataract surgery and glaucoma treatments.

“We care deeply about Western Colorado and are proud members of the Grand Junction health care community,” said Ryan Heckman, president and chief executive officer of ICON Eyecare.

Icon Eyecare operates six locations in Colorado. In Grand Junction, the center relocated into a renovated facility at 1000 Wellington Ave. that includes an ambulatory surgery center and LASIK suite. New LASIK equipment offers topography guided technology to track the shape of patients’ eyes and tailor treatments to them.

The staff at the Grand Junction center includes Dr. James Fox, a fellowship-trained cataract surgeon and glaucoma specialist, and Dr. Michael Waggoner, a fellowship trained corneal specialist and cataract and refractive surgeon.

“In addition to providing the most advanced eye care in the region, we love being invested in the community — whether it’s supporting Colorado Mesa University’s health sciences program or sponsoring the Tour of the Moon,” Heckman said. “Our entire team is honored to serve this great community.”
