Lorraine Archuleta, advertising manager for Family Health West, has received an annual award recognizing her contributions to the health care organization in Fruita.
Archuleta received the Ruth B. Wyper Award. The award has been bestowed since 1959 to individuals and groups that have been involved with or provided exceptional services to Family Health West.
Archuleta joined Family Health West in 1981 as a medical records clerk and since has held a variety of positions, including administrative assistant, contributions and marketing assistant and events coordinator.
“Lorraine is a jack-of-all-trades and is known for doing whatever it takes to get the job done and get it down right. We are so fortunate to have Lorraine as part of our family,” said Lori Henderson, hospital administrator and chief nursing office for Family Health West.
Archuleta said she was surprised and honored by her selection. “If there’s one thing I’ve learned working at Family Health West, change happens. And if you believe in our mission and go with the flow, the change will create a positive effect.”
