Dr. Denise Burnett has joined HopeWest in Grand Junction as a hospice and palliative medicine physician.
Burnett brings to her duties more than 23 years of experience in family medicine, long-term care and hospice care. She’s certified as a hospice medical director.

Burnett received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Memorial University in Newfoundland, Canada, and completed a rural family medicine residency program with the university. She relocated to Georgia in 1996 and spent 12 years in private practice and five years as a full-time member of the faculty at the Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program.
She’s certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and was named a fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
