The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has scheduled a forum in Grand Junction that will assess the outlooks for the state and national economies.
The forum is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Two Rivers Convention Center, 159 Main St.
The event is the last of three planned for Colorado. The other forums are set for Sept. 21 in Fort Collins and Sept. 23 in Gunnison.
In Grand Junction, Alison Felix, an economist who serves as a vice president and executive with the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will discuss the Colorado economy.
George Kahn, an economist and vice president with the bank, will discuss the national economic outlook and issues of concern to monetary policymakers.
The forum also will include a reception and dinner.
