Financial planning firms merge operations

Two financial planning services firms based in Grand Junction have merged.

The Berry/Eden Group and Funderbunk Group of Legacy Wealth Management previously operated as two practices, but have combined operations. The firm will maintain its Redlands and downtown locations and current staff.

Mike Berry, Linda Eden and Serenity Mienick, all Certified Financial Planners, will continue to work at the Redlands location at 372 Ridges Blvd. Dan and Jeff Funderburk, also Certified Financial Planners, will continue to work at the downtown location at 706 S. Ninth St.

“What’s exciting is that Legacy Wealth Management now offers five Certified Financial Planners who bring their expertise together to help clients continue to achieve their financial goals,” said Berry, co-founder along with Eden of Legacy Wealth Management.

Eden agreed. “We think this will be a great fit for us and our clients.”

Dan Funderburk said a team approach offers value to clients. “We feel two heads are better than one, and we certainly believe that five heads are better than two. Combined, our firm will have almost 100 years of financial service experience working together.
