Sue Ellen Rodwick has joined Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies as manager of the Grand Junction branch.
Rodwick succeeds Starlene Collins, who retired after serving nearly 20 years in the position.
Rodwick brings to her new duties experience in managing nonprofit organizations, including a stint overseeing the Goodwill Industries retail store in Grand Junction.
Rodwick said she’s excited to grow the organization and looks forward to collaborating with the community. “When I made the transition to being a single mom, I got help from organizations like WSFBR and the partner agencies who help feed Western Slope families. Sometimes, life happens. This job is an opportunity for me to give back.”
Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies, an arm of Food Bank of the Rockies, serves northwest Colorado, including Grand Junction. Last year, the food book distributed more than 6.1 million meals through 101 hunger relief programs, pantries, shelters and soup kitchens.
