A former Olympic athlete will share his advice on how to achieve peak performance at an event planned for Grand Junction.
Eli Bremer will appear at an event scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. May 19 at Grand Vista Hotel, 2790 Crossroads Blvd. Advance tickets sell for $10 at www.awakenyourinnerathlete.eventbrite.com or by calling 260-4839. Tickets will sell for $20 at the door.
Bremer will share his story as well as offer advice on how people can get more out of their workouts, activities — and lives — through nutritional supplements. People who attend the event will receive free samples and special offers.
Bremer, a graduate of the Air Force Academy, was a top-ranked pentathlon athlete who competed in the 2008 Olympic games in China and won a bronze medal at the World Cup finals that year. He retired in 2013 after qualifying for 12 world teams and winning three Pan American Championships.
In 2011, Bremer founded the Pure Performance Team, a sponsorship program in which world-class athletes represent Shaklee Corp. products. Those athletes have won a total of 121 medals at Olympic games, including seven medals at the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea.
