Framing store to display student artwork

The Frame Depot in Grand Junction will display the artwork of students from New Emerson Elementary School.

The benefit show will run through April 2 at the Frame Depot,  529 Bogart Lane, and is open to the public during business hours. An opening reception is set for 1 to 4 p.m. March 7.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade have selected works to exhibit and sell to raise money for art supplies at New Emerson Elementary. The price for an individual work will be a donation of the purchaser’s choice. About 140 students participate in the art program under the guidance of Diane Hower, a certified art teacher.
