Family Health West has scheduled the second of two free seminars on a debilitating back condition for 8 to 10 a.m. July 14 at the Fruita Community Center, 324 N. Coulson St.

Dr. Larry Tice will discuss lumbar spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the canal that contains the spinal cord that results in pain, weakness and numbness. Tice, a neurosurgeon, also will discuss treatment options, including a decompression device called the X-Stop system.
