A Grand Junction firm has scheduled a free seminar to help business owners use social media to improve their marketing efforts.

Synergy Marketing Consultants will host the seminar in two sessions at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. March 21 in the training room of Re/Max 4000, 120 W. Park Drive.

The seminar will help participating business owners gain a better understanding of how to use social media as well address their questions.

A giveaway also is planned. One participant will win a full social media analysis for his or her business.

“We strongly believe that social media without strategy is just a buzz word right now,” said Erika Jones, owner and lead consultant at Synergy Marketing Consultants.

“Business owners are constantly being told they have to do social media, but most businesses today don’t know what that means or how to execute it,” Jones added.
