Drs. Angie Gao and Jill Rimmey of Fruita Family Medicine will join Community Hospital effective Feb 1.
“There are so many great things happening at Community Hospital, and we are excited to be a part of their future and the team of physicians they’ve assembled,” Gao said.
Rimmey agreed. “By joining Community Hospital and Grand Valley Primary Care, we will be able to continue providing personalized patient care while leaving the administrative burdens to the outstanding team at Community Hospital.”
Chris Thomas, president and chief executive officer of Community Hospital, said the agreement with Gao and Rimmey boosts the hospital’s presence in Fruita and its services to patients there. “Both Mesa County and School District 51 have a number of employees who live in this area, and this will improve their access to the services provided through our partnership.”
Established in 2006, Fruita Family Medicine offers primary medical care to families from infants through seniors. Fruita Family Medicine will maintain its location at 551 Kokopelli Blvd., Suite 4.
