Fruita firm among Companies to Watch

A Fruita company that supplies equipment to the oil and natural gas industry is among the latest winners of an awards program that honors companies that demonstrate high performance in the marketplace through innovative products and processes.

Frank Henry Equipment (FHE) USA is among 50 firms to receive 2015 awards in the Colorado Companies to Watch program.

“FHE is proud to be recognized as a top 50 company in Colorado by Colorado Companies to Watch and owe all our success to our hard-working, dedicated team of employees and valued customers,” said Nick Smoke, general manager of the firm’s Grand Valley office.

David Tolson, chairman of the Colorado Companies to Watch board of directors, also praised FHE. “We are pleased to recognize FHE for its outstanding contribution in fueling the economic fire of Colorado. Thank you FHE.”

Launched by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade in 2009, the Colorado Companies to Watch program honors second-stage companies for developing products and services that create jobs, promote innovation and contribute to their communities. The awards program also offers insights into the state economy and the roles winning companies play on local, regional and statewide levels.

The 50 companies that won awards in 2014 earned a total of $413 million in annual revenues and employed the equivalent of nearly 1,800 full-time employees.

FHE designs and manufactures pressure control equipment for the oil and natural gas industry. The company also supplies wireline services companies. For more information, visit the Web site at www.builtbyfhe.com.
