Brian Oliver has joined the Rockslide as general manager of the restaurant and brewery in downtown Grand Junction.
Oliver brings to his new duties more than two decades of experience in the restaurant industry. “During my career I’ve done it all — from managing to bartending and everything in between. I’m excited about working for a local company with strong values and commitment to excellence. The craft food and brews and the atmosphere are the best in town,” Oliver said.
Mike Bell, co-owner of the Rockslide, said Oliver brings to the position enthusiasm and a new spring menu. “We will be featuring all the popular Rockslide favorites, like salmon fish and chips, as well as the addition of some healthy options and gluten friendly choices,” Bell said.
Oliver works with Ted Garcia, who is back as chef, and Zorba Proteau, head brewer. “Together they are planning incredible food and brew pairings, great daily and seasonal specials, fun events and educational classes,” said Scott Howard, co-owner.
