Jenn Moore, Angelina Salazar and Diane Schwenke were honored for their professional and personal contributions to the community.
Moore, Salazar and Schwenke were named the Western Slope Women of Distinction for 2019. Moore serves as executive director of the Eureka McConnell Science Museum in Grand Junction. Salazar is chief executive officer of the Western Healthcare Alliance in Grand Junction. Schwenke is president and CEO of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Girl Scouts of Colorado conducts the program to honor women who serve as role models for Girl Scouts and future women leaders. Since 2013, 21 Women of Distinction in Western Colorado have been recognized.
A Nov. 7 breakfast event in Grand Junction honoring the latest Women of Distinction also raised more than $42,000 for Girl Scout programs.
