Paige Curtiss, a staff accountant with Dalby, Wendland & Co. in Grand Junction, has received designation as a certified public accountant.
To earn CPA designation, applicants must pass a four-part examination with a total of 14 hours of testing in auditing and attestation, business environment and concepts, financial accounting and reporting and regulation. Applicants also must meet requirements for education, ethics and experience. To maintain the designation, CPAs must complete continuing education courses.
Curtiss joined the tax team at Dalby Wendland in January 2018 after earning a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming. She assists businesses and individuals with income tax preparation. She also serves as a diplomat with the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce.
