Grand Junction attorney earns post-doctorate law degree

William Kain, a partner in the Grand Junction law firm of Kain & Burke, has earned a post-doctorate law degree in estate planning and elder law.

Kain earned a master of laws degree from the Western New England College School of Law in  Springfield, Mass. Kain also holds a law degree from the college. In addition, he holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Denver.

Along with estate planning and elder law, Kain offers a range of legal services related to business planning, business and corporate law, commercial real estate, construction law, contracts and partnerships.

Kain has practiced law in Grand Junction for 33 years. He’s licensed to practice in Colorado and Utah as well as in federal district court and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition to private practice, Kain has served as a special assistant U.S. attorney, chief assistant district attorney and district attorney.
