Grand Junction doctor relocates pulmonary and critical care practice

Dr. Thomas Horiagon has relocated his medical practice to 2501 Blichmann Ave., Suite 1 in Grand Junction.

Horiagon continues to provide a full range of pulmonary and critical care services as well as sleep studies. He admits patients to both Community Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.

Horiagon’s medical practice offers a state-of-the art pulmonary function laboratory. This new equipment enables the measurement of airflow resistance in patients unable to complete forced vital capacity maneuvers.

Horiagon also has a special interest and expertise in occupational and environmental lung disorders and maintains a level II accreditation from the Colorado Division of Workers Compensation.

Horiagon also performs medical evaluations for the black lung, Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation and radiation exposure compensation programs.

In a region where patients can find themselves at significant travel distances to hospital services, Horiagon also offers TeleCurbside, an open platform videoconferencing service where he can be reached to discuss pulmonary and critical care management problems and transfer decisions. All that is needed to access the service is a computer, a webcam and a free Skype account.

Reach Horiagon at 424-5660 during normal business hours or call the switchboard at St. Mary’s Hospital at 298-2273 at other times to schedule an appointment or establish a video link.
