Grand Junction firm wins Top Company award

Reynolds Polymer Technology is among 16 Colorado companies recognized in an awards program conducted by ColoradoBiz magazine.

Reynolds Polymer won a Top Company award in the manufacturing category.

The Grand Junction-based company manufactures acrylic panels for some of the largest aquariums in the world as well as other water attractions, architectural features and scientific instruments.

Now in its 32nd year, the Top Company program recognizes firms across Colorado. Nominations were narrowed down to 16 categories and 49 finalists. A panel of business leaders and editors selected the winners based on outstanding achievements, financial performance and community involvement — including philanthropic pursuits.

The winners were honored at an event at the Denver Center of Performing Arts. The finalists and winners also were featured in the September and October issue of ColoradoBiz.

Reynolds Polymer has completed a total of more than 2,000 installations of acrylic panels in 60 countries around the world. Those projects include the 50-foot-tall AquaDom aquarium in a Berlin hotel, a 130-foot indoor waterfall at the Changi Airport in Singapore and LUX-ZEPLIN experiment in South Dakota to detect dark matter.
