Grand Junction real estate firm among fastest-growing in U.S.

Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties ranks among the fastest growing real estate companies in the United States in the latest results of an annual industry report.

The Grand Junction-based company ranks 25th among the top 50 movers in the 2019 REAL Trends 500 based on the proportional increase in closed transaction sides between 2014 and 2018.

Todd Conklin, chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties, attributed the gain to efforts to help agents help their clients. “From day one, we made it a priority to make certain our agents had everything at their disposal so they could provide incredible service to their clients,” Conklin said. “This has allowed our agents to build trust in every community we serve, and the work being done in all our offices is incredible.”

Coidwell Banker Distinctive Properties participated in 2,312 transaction sides in 2018. That’s a 207 percent increase over the 753 sides in 2014.

The company reported $773.2 million in sales volume in 2018, a 174 percent increase over 2014 that ranked 49th among the top 50 movers for proportional gains in volume.

Overall, Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties ranked 401st nationally in sales volume and 409th in transaction sides for 2018, making it the 28th largest Coldwell Banker affiliate.
