Seven high school students and a community college student will receive scholarships from Grand Valley Power based in Grand Junction.

The recipients are: Lauren Amos and Kassidy Wilkerson, Plateau Valley High School; Peiten Barton and TyLee Brown, Fruita Monument High School; Kim Holton, Central High School; Makayla Moran, Grand Junction High School; and Jeron Walck, DeBeque High School. Wyatt Bramwell, a student at Western Colorado Community College, also will receive a scholarship.
