Lori Randall has been named chief operating officer and executive vice president of Family Health West. Angelina Salazar has been named vice president of business development of the health care organization in Fruita. Kelly Murphy has been named vice president of human resources.
Randall brings to her new duties 20 years of experience with Family Health West in a variety of positions, including director of nursing, chief nursing officer and vice president of clinical services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and certification in orthopedic and geriatric nursing.
“Lori possesses the talent and expertise. But what really sets her apart is her heart. She is able to lead our staff by seeing the possibilities of the organization and in each of us as individuals,” said Mark Francis, president and chief executive officer of Family Health West.
Randall said, “We do the right thing for the right reasons and, fortunately, have local partners who work together for the betterment of our patients and their families.”
Salazar oversees physician services staff as well as customer service and patient satisfaction. She’s also involved in marketing, program development and community outreach. She brings to her duties experience in education, nonprofit development, marketing and public relations. She holds master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction and transpersonal psychology.
“Angelina is always looking for ways to improve processes and communication,” Francis said. “She is dedicated to advancing the mission of the organization for our patients, their families, staff and the community at large.”
Salazar said, “I’m looking forward to further advancing our mission in providing exceptional health care to our community with an uncompromising team of health care providers.”
Murphy plans and directs human resources policies, including employee relations and compliance. She also manages dietary and environmental services, information technology and payroll. Murphy has worked for Family Health West for 25 years. She holds designations as a Professional in Human Resources and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional.
“Kelly has demonstrated her dedication to Family Health West and not just by the amount of years she has worked here, but by her continual pursuit of furthering her professional development and that of her staff,” Francis said.
Murphy said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow and develop personally and professionally and to continue to work with great people.”
