Jeff Kuhr, executive director of Mesa County Public Health, has been appointed to the Colorado Early Childhood Leadership Commission.
Kuhr was among 11 appointees, He will serve as a representative of local government. The commission seeks to improve outcomes for children from birth through age 8 and their families by advancing the alignment, coordination and efficiency of programs and services.
Two from Grand Junction named to appraisers board
Patrice Campbell and Joshua Walitt of Grand Junction has been appointed to the Board of Real Estate Appraisers.
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper appointed Campbell and Walitt to terms expiring July 1, 2021. Campbell serves on the board as a real estate appraiser with expertise in eminent domain matters. Walitt serves as a representative of appraisal management companies.
The board meets monthly for rulemaking hearings.
