Hearing clinic’s event features FDA-approved tinnitus treatment

Western Colorado Hearing Clinic is hosting Lenire Week, June 1–5, in Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs to educate patients about tinnitus and introduce Lenire, the first and only FDA-approved treatment designed to reduce tinnitus symptoms.

As part of the weeklong event, Dr. Ross O’Neill, founder and inventor of Lenire, will be a special guest speaker during two, free, patient-educational seminars. Community members experiencing tinnitus, commonly described as ringing in the ears, are invited to attend a seminar or schedule a personalized appointment during one of several Lenire Day events.

“Tinnitus can have a tremendous impact on a person’s quality of life, affecting sleep, concentration, communication and emotional well-being,” said Dr. Jennifer Bebee, owner of Western Colorado Hearing Clinic. “We are excited to bring Lenire Week to our communities and provide local patients access to the latest FDA-approved treatment option available for tinnitus.”

Lenire is a non-invasive neuromodulation device that combines sound therapy delivered through headphones with mild electrical stimulation to the tongue. This bimodal-treatment approach targets the underlying neural activity associated with tinnitus and is designed to help reduce symptom severity over time.

“Many people living with tinnitus have been told there are limited options available to help them,” Bebee said. “Lenire represents an exciting advancement in tinnitus care, and we are proud to offer this treatment right here on the Western Slope, so patients can receive expert care close to home.

“Our goal during Lenire Week is to educate patients, answer questions and help people understand that they do not have to simply live with tinnitus symptoms.”
