A home furnishing and decorating retailer will open a store in Mesa Mall in Grand Junction.
Washington Prime Group, a real estate investment trust that owns Mesa Mall, announced HomeGoods will open in a space previously used by Sports Authority.
Other store openings in the mall are expected in 2020, Washington Prime Group announced in a news release, including a national retailer that will move into a space previously used by Herberger’s. A newly constructed Dillard’s will open in the former Sears space.
Over the past year, El Asadero, Pump It Up Jump Zone, Sola Salon, The Kids Closet and Torrid have opened in the mall.
HomeGoods operates more than 500 stores across the country in selling home decor and accessories as well as bathroom accessories, bedding, kitchen products, seasonal decorations and tableware. Rather than offer coupons, promotions or sales, HomeGoods offers discounted prices every day.
HomeGoods is part of TJX Companies, which also operates HomeSense, Marshalls, Sierra and TJ Maxx stores in the United States.
Located at 2424 U.S. Highway 6 & 50, Mesa Mall offers a range of retail, dining and entertainment options. The mall also hosts nearly 100 events a year to drive guest traffic and encourage extended stays.
