Christy Whitney Borchard, the president and chief executive officer of HopeWest based in Grand Junction, has been elected secretary of the National Partnership for Hospice Innovation (NPHI) board of directors.
The NPHI works to improve hospice, palliative and advanced illness care through innovation and collaboration.
“As a founding member of NPHI, Christy’s passion and drive for high-quality, person-centered care is remarkable, and I am thrilled that she is the secretary,” said Tom Koutsoumpas, president and CEO.
“I look forward to serving on this board and not only representing HopeWest, but also not-for-profit hospices across the nation,” Borchard said. “I value NPHI and the dedication and determination their members have to continually improve patient and family experiences at the end of life.”
