The Colorado Canyons Hospital and Medical Center in Fruita offers a Warfarin management program.
International Normalized Ratio (INR) checks are offered through the hospital laboratory. A pharmacist is available to help patients with dose changes and education.
“We had an overwhelming response from our community that they wanted us to provide this important service in Fruita again,” said Lori Henderson, vice president of clinical services for Family Health West, which operates the hospital.
To use the service, patients must be referred by their primary care doctors. For more information, call 858-2536.
