Housing authority receives Realtor grant

The Grand Junction Housing Authority is among the recipients of 2016 grants from the Colorado Realtor Foundation.

The foundation awarded a total of $50,000 in grants to 14 nonprofit housing organizations across Colorado to help them meet housing needs in their communities.

Colorado Realtors make the grants possible through their donations and participation in foundation fund-raising events. Money raised from interest-bearing escrow accounts also go to grants.

Since 1993, Colorado Realtors have given $7.6 million to Colorado nonprofit organizations.
