Lisa Martin, vice president of human resources for Hilltop Community Resources based in Grand Junction, has earned statewide recognition for her contributions to the HR profession.
The Society for Human Resource Management Colorado State Council presented Martin with its Summit Award. The award recognizes the contributions of HR professionals to the field. The state council is a member of SHRM, an association with a total of more than 250,000 members in more than 140 countries,
Martin has served as vice president of HR at Hilltop for nine years. In addition to assuring quality staffing for 24 Hilltop programs, the HR department provides operational support and consulting. Hilltop employs 550 people in providing a variety of services in Western Colorado that range from prenatal health care to assisted living facilities for seniors.
Martin was nominated by her peers for the Summit Award and was quick to share their recognition with her department.
“The quality and success of everything we do is a reflection of the entire human resources department at Hilltop,” Martin said. “Together, we are able to provide and nurture the outstanding employees who make a real difference in our community.”
